Responsibilities

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator will have the opportunity to learn about the sales and marketing process as it relates to market research and strategic consulting, both quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies, and the power of insights yielded from data.

The right candidate will have a burning desire to learn about sales, marketing, market research and strategic consulting!

We are looking for an energetic and motivated junior sales and marketing professional who is excited to join a fast-paced market research and strategic consulting firm.  On the sales side, the right candidate will monitor incoming leads, reach out to prospects to set up exploratory calls, virtual capabilities overviews, and in-person meetings as well as manage contact information in the CRM system, and assist in proposal development. This candidate will work in tandem with the marketing team on social media outreach, marketing content research and tradeshow coordination.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Nurture marketing qualified leads and turn them into sales qualified leads. Set up calls and/or meetings with prospects to allow the sales team to showcase our capabilities and begin the consultative sales process that results in an on-going market research engagement.
  • Work closely with the sales team to create strong and persuasive proposals.
  • Conduct research on the industry to alert management team of new trends, opportunities, and marketing content/research studies topics.
  • Maintain CRM/Salesforce and stay on top of outreach tasks and reminders.
  • Work with marketing team on social media outreach and strategy.
  • Perform various clerical and administrative tasks.
  • Assistance with special projects as requested by the business development team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related business discipline.
  • 1-2 years of sales coordination or marketing experience desired.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate or better use of Internet, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Project.
  • Self-starter who is able to work independently and stay on task.
  • Pristine organizational skills with emphasis on world-class follow-up.
  • Prior CRM (Salesforce) experience desired, but not required.
  • Prior HubSpot experience desired, but not required.
  • Market Research experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of team dynamics and accountability.
  • Integrity, Team Player, Disciplined, Motivated and Respectful.

Compensation: $45,760

 

Pre-employment testing including drug screening (marijuana prohibited) & background check. EOE. We do not offer relocation reimbursement.
